American Initiatives has long partnered with two organizations in Venezuela and we will continue to send them extra support during this time of recovery. Read below for the efforts of both organizations and know that every donation makes a different in their ability to serve the people of Venezuela so devastatingly impacted by the earthquake.

Salud y Familia
The facilities of Salud y Familia Catia la Mar center have completely collapsed due to the earthquake in La Guaria. However, their commitment to the health and well-being of the families they serve remains unwavering. For the past 26 years they have provided healthcare, educational services, and family support to the people of La Guaira. True to their mission, they are already establishing a temporary location so that they can resume medical consultations and social support services as soon as possible.

Impaktemos
Impaktemos is working on the ground with a solid, well-organized plan to support displaced families through a 90-day humanitarian response that provides food, hygiene supplies, healthcare, essential household items, and, above all, a consistent human presence and compassionate support through our dedicated volunteers and partners.
